Diamond Standard announces support of Education Foundation

Aug. 13, 2012—Diamond Standard Brand Parts and its associated manufacturing groups, Reflexxion Automotive and Production Bumper Stampings, has committed to make ongoing financial and in-kind donations to support the Collision Repair Education Foundation.

Brandon Eckenrode, associate director of development for the Education Foundation, said Diamond Standard will donate $750 to the organization quarterly through 2013. He said Diamond Standard will also donate various products, such as bumpers and other automotive parts, for use within school collision repair programs.

“Based on the challenges ahead represented by the technology, material and process advancements in vehicles today, it is reassuring to know the industry’s future in terms of preparing a highly skilled workforce is being met so broadly and capably by the Collision Repair Education Foundation,” said Michael O’Neal, president of Diamond Standard. “Auto body and structural parts manufacturers make a good living off this country and it’s time all of them gave some back especially to fuel the future of the industry that has created a business channel like no other in the world.”
