Craftsman Auto Body to donate Recycled Rides vehicles

Nov. 22, 2011

Nov. 22, 2011—Craftsman Auto Body in Leesburg, Va. on Monday announced it will donate two vehicles to families in need on Thanksgiving through the National Auto Body Council’s (NABC) Recycled Rides program.

Craftsmen Auto Body said Esurance Insurance Services Inc. and 1-800-Charity Cars donated the vehicles that were refurbished by the shop.

“We decided to utilize the NABC program because they have a great toolkit that walked us through the entire process, from taking in the damaged vehicle to delivering it to the needy recipient,” said John Krauss, chief operating officer of Craftsmen Auto Body. “This enabled us to make a difference in our own community and across the country.”

Craftsman Auto Body is one of many repairers participating in NABC’s Recycled Rides giveaways this week through simultaneous donations nationwide. For more information on NABC’s Recycled Rides effort, visit autobodycouncil.org.
