3M Automotive Aftermarket launches new website

March 23, 2011

March 23, 2011 — 3M Automotive Aftermarket recently unveiled 3MCollision.com, a new website that allows industry professionals to more easily find products, solution guides, how-to videos, related projects and more, according to the company.

“Automotive professionals are becoming more tech-savvy and demand this information from their shops, home computers and mobile devices. So we created a new site that will help users in a way like never before,” said David Lee, e-marketing manager for 3M. “The result is an improved overall experience.”

The site was designed for a range of users, from industry novices to automotive experts. Products are arranged on the site by number, task, solution and brief technical description, so users don’t have to read a significant amount of technical information to find something, according to 3M. All training modules and videos are linked to products.

The entire site is geared toward improved accessibility and usefulness, which 3M expects will save users time and money.

3M produces thousands of products in dozens of markets across the globe. For more information on the company, go to 3M.com.
