Axalta Names New CIO

Axalta Coating Systems recently announced a promotion for executive Ashish Jawadiwar.

April 30, 2019—Axalta Coating Systems recently announced that Ashish Jawadiwar has been promoted to chief information and digital officer effective immediately.

Jawadiwar will report directly to Axalta's CEO, Robert Bryant. As chief information and digital officer, Ashish will focus on driving innovative new IT processes and leveraging world-class digital solutions that will enable customers, suppliers, and employees to be more efficient, productive, and connected.

Jawadiwar has more than 20 years of strong leadership experience driving strategic IT objectives that drive business results. He joined Axalta as director, IT – Americas CIO in Aug. 2018.

Prior to joining Axalta, Ashish worked for Coty, Inc. where he served in several progressive senior IT leadership roles since 2005. His last role at Coty was as a multi-region business facing senior director in IT, focusing on business enablement and the successful integration of a division of Proctor & Gamble. He earned his BS in computer science from the University of Mumbai.
