April 8 ,2019—Firefighters battled a 3-alarm fire at an auto body shop in Cohasset, Mass., as the region continued to experience gusty winds and dry weather conditions on Thursday, according to a report from Boston 25 News.

Crews responding to the fire on South Main Street found explosive oxygen tanks inside the building. No injuries were reported and it took the firefighters more than two hours and 40 firefighters to knock the fire down.

Assistant Cohasset fire chief John Dockrey said the repair shop had oxygen tanks and ammunition that made conditions hazardous.

State environmental officials were on scene Thursday night to evaluate the local water supply. Fire officials say they're monitoring oil from the shop that may have seeped into storm drains.
