Mitchell adds GPS capabilities to WorkCenter

Sept. 20, 2010

September 20, 2010—Mitchell International Inc. announced on Monday that its WorkCenter Dispatch now has Garmin Global Positioning System (GPS) capabilities to help appraisers with their field operations.

The GPS addition aims to increase productivity by reducing errors and improving timeliness. WorkCenter will sync information to the GPS, including: claim numbers, date, time, owner name, address and phone number, eliminating the need for the appraiser to go back to the itinerary board, according to a Mitchell press release_notes.

"We're really excited to bring this new feature to the market and help insurers further improve efficiency, which in the end is also a benefit to their customers," said Paul Rosenstein, Mitchell's vice president of claims solutions.
