Mazda to Recall Vehicles for Valve Spring Problem

Nov. 9, 2018—Mazda is set to recall 640,000 vehicles across the globe, according to a report by ABC 10 News.

The company said it would recall about 230,000 vehicles in Japan and 410,000 from other markets around the globe. Mazda doesn't sell diesel vehicles in the U.S. Reuters reports Japanese automakers are dealing with increasing costs due to issues like faulty components and testing misconduct. 

This is just the latest Mazda recall. In July, the company recalled nearly 270,000 vehicles because of defective Takata air bags.
