Polyvance has announced the addition of its newest online plastic repair course to its online training portal.

October 18, 2018—Polyvance has added its newest online plastic repair course to its online training portal. Developed in partnership with Accountable Estimating, EPR-01 is an online, self-paced course designed to educate collision damage estimators and technicians on determining the repairability of damaged plastic parts.

The course is designed to educate someone with no prior knowledge of plastics or the repair of plastic so they can get to the point to discuss the topic and methods with technicians.

The course is divided into four modules. Modules 1 through 3 build the foundation of knowledge for the student. Module 4 will introduce the student to a plastic damage repairability scale which ranks plastic bumper damage on a scale of 1 to 5.

The course has been approved by I-CAR for two continuing education credits under their Industry Training Alliance program. Because Polyvance is an I-CAR Sustaining Partner, these credits are available from I-CAR at no additional cost to the student.
