September 27, 2018—Technician.Academy is celebrating two years of delivering automotive training to the technicians of today and tomorrow.
The Technician.Academy team has reached over 450 students at a dozen institutions, curated hundreds of blogs and tech tips, published 43 educational podcasts with over 4,600 downloads, distributed newsletters every month to 700 subscribers, and has added a number of additional resources for students, including its job and scholarship boards.
On top of the training courses and insurmountable resources that the Technician.Academy team has produced, the organization also launched its Respect is Learned campaign. The campaign includes the Respect is Learned In The Pits contest that gives a winning student the opportunity to work alongside Randy Meyer Racing, a Top Alcohol drag team, at the largest drag racing event in the world.
The team recently wrapped up its second Respect is Learned In The Pits contest. Due to the campaign and contest successes as well as the opportunity’s allure to all parties involved, Randy Meyer Racing and Technician.Academy announced the addition of a second Respect is Learned In The Pits winner for 2019.
Technician.Academy is designing a Respect is Learned Middle School Program to contribute even more to the future of the automotive industry, and a physical facility for Technician.Academy is being envisioned.
