September 19, 2018—The second day of the 2018 FenderBender Management Conference kicked off on Tuesday, Sept. 18.
The day started with an opening keynote from Jeff Butler, renowned speaker and millennial expert. Butler's TEDx appearances have positioned him as a new, authoritative voice on hiring, retaining and leading the younger generation of workers. He has spoken for Fortune 500 companies, and helped businesses across the country with hiring.
Butler led a line of presenters who spoke on employee recruitment, insurance relations, investing in technology and expansion, and the art of coaching. Presenters included industry experts like Ryan Cropper, owner of Able Body Shops; Kevin Conner, owner of Conner Brothers Collision Centers; Greg Lobsiger, owner of Loren's Body Shop; and more.
Day Two ended with a session on extreme (and easy) marketing by Matthew McDonnell, and an inside look into how Ryan Cropper has grown his business from one small location into four powerhouse shops in Anchorage, Alaska.
Attendees were able to relax and further network at the Big Networking Party, sponsored by PPG. Everyone celebrated FenderBender's 20th Anniversary with brewery tours, Chicago's best food trucks, drinks, games and more at Alter Brewing Company.
