May 2, 2011 — Fix Auto USA has added five new collision repair franchises to its network, the company said Tuesday.

The new facilities are in the southern California cities of El Cajon, Excondido, La Mesa, Mira Mesa and National City. The former business names, respectively, are East County Auto Collision, Henson and Son, Drew Collision Repair Center, Miramar Collision Center and Ball Auto Group.

Greg Carter, owner of the National City shop, said in a prepared statement that the power of Fix Auto’s large network was appealing.

“A group of high-performing, independently owned shops that work under a common brand to compete against other multi-shop operations (MSOs) is a good business model,” Carter said. “Knowing the repairers that we’re adding to this network; we’re all bringing something to the table and it’s helping us improve and grow our individual businesses. As we expand our footprint, the brand will become that much more influential. I think it’s going to be fun to watch this network grow.”

Paul Gange, president and COO of Fix Auto USA, said the company allows shops in its network “to remain independent while reaping the benefits of shared best practices, pooled resources, expansive reporting tools and back office support.”

Fix Auto USA, based in Anaheim Hills, Calif., includes 171 locations throughout the country, including 39 franchised shops. For more information on the company, go to
