ASA opens elections for 2012 board members

Feb. 1, 2012—Elections for the Automotive Service Association’s (ASA) 2012 national board of directors opened Wednesday, and will be held through March 31.

The ASA said all of its members in good standing with the organization are eligible to vote for one position of general director. Mechanical members are able to vote for the ASA mechanical division director, and collision members are able to vote for the ASA collision division director.

Candidate bios and audio campaign messages are available online at ASAshop.org.

The ASA said members can vote by calling a toll-free telephone number, or through a secure voting site at ASAshop.org. Voters need their ASA member number and three-digit personal identification number to vote.

The voting line will remain open 24 hours a day until voting closes at 5 p.m. CST March 31, according to the ASA.
