Fire Causes Heavy Damage at N.Y. Body Shop

Twelve fire departments battled a fire that broke out overnight at Boyer's Auto Service Center in Hudson Falls, N.Y., causing heavy damage.
July 25, 2018—Twelve fire departments battled a fire that broke out overnight at Boyer's Auto Service Center in Hudson Falls, N.Y.,, causing heavy damage, WYNT-TV reports.

Crews received a call shortly before midnight saying a mechanic could be trapped inside the burning building. Luckily, fire crews determined no one was inside.

No cars were inside the garage at the time of the fire, and no cars were damaged in the parking lot.

The building is considered a total loss. State fire investigators are working to determine the cause.
