July 10, 2018—Switzerland has launched a complaint at the World Trade Organization (WTO) against US tariffs on steel and aluminum, reported Reuters.

Switzerland is the eighth WTO member to start a complaint, according to the complaint.

Under the WTO rules, the U.S. has 60 days to settle the issue. After that time, Switzerland could ask the WTO to set up a panel of judges to adjudicate the dispute.
