May 2, 2018—Tesla is being sued for more than $2 billion by electric-hydrogen truck startup Nikola Motor Co., according to a report by MarketWatch.

Nikola Motor Co. is claiming its semi-truck design was copied, according to the report.

According to a court filing, in November 2017, Nikola sent a cease-and-desist letter to Tesla, which pointed out similar features on the Nikola One and the Tesla Semi. Nikola demanded Tesla delay the public unveiling of the Semi.

Similar features included the wraparound windshield, mid-entry door and aerodynamic fuselage, according to the court document.
