ABRA CEO named Entrepreneur of the Year

June 17, 2010—ABRA Auto Body & Glass announced that co-founder and chief executive officer Rollie Benjamin was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award for a retail business in the upper Midwest region.

ABRA was started in 1984 with one shop in Fridley, Minn. Today there are 98 locations in 11 states and plans to expand more with both corporate and franchise locations.

Benjamin is now eligible for the national retail division award and the overall national award. Winners will be announced at an annual awards gala this November.

“I am honored to be among such a prestigious group of individuals,” Benjamin said. “I appreciate being considered for the national award, and thank the nominating committee and judges for this incredible compliment.”
