I-CAR will implement a 5% price increase for select training products and services starting in January 2027, according to I-CAR. Current pricing will remain in effect through Dec. 31, providing time to prepare and budget for the change.

Access to previously purchased training courses will remain available for completion as long as the course remains active in the I‑CAR catalog.

I-CAR said it has worked to maintain stable pricing while vehicle technology advanced rapidly, and expanded offerings and invested in training, technology, curriculum enhancements, and new programming. During this same period, marked by significant inflation, materials, labor, and delivery costs have increased significantly.

I‑CAR said the pricing adjustment will ensure that it can continue to deliver high-quality training, technical resources and expertise, industry programming, and workforce development initiatives that help the industry keep pace with rapidly evolving vehicle technology.

The 5% price adjustment will affect the following training products and services:

  • Professional Development Program (ProLevel) online curriculum
  • Vehicle and Technology Specific Training courses
  • Welding Training and Certification and Recertification
  • Hands-On Skills Development courses
  • In-Shop Knowledge Assessment
  • Get to Gold Class package
  • Collision Repair Subscription (upon renewal)

If an organization anticipates hands-on training, welding certification, role-based training, or other learning needs, I-CAR recommends scheduling and purchasing training before the updated pricing takes effect.
