The discussion, led by AASP/NJ's Charles Bryant and Jerry McNee, served as a platform for shop owners and industry professionals to talk through some of the most pressing issues across the industry. 

Led by the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of Massachusetts, the demonstration will include auto body industry supporters and flatbed trucks topped with damaged vehicles. 

A report issued by the Commission on Auto Body Labor Rates in Massachusetts outlines recommendations for an increase in labor rates, which have been stagnant in the state for years. 

A group of Massachusetts body shop owners are pressing their state legislation to require an increase in the cost of insurance rate reimbursements. 

The hearing will likely not be the last time the topic of auto body repair labor rates is debated.
