CARS Cooperative on Thursday announced it has partnered with Repairify, Inc., the makers of the patented asTech diagnostic device offering vehicle diagnostic and calibration services to its more than 700 locations in the United States.
In the 2018 FenderBender Industry Survey, most shops claimed to charge an hour or less for diagnostics scans. The 30 percent that charges more than one hour, though, post much better profitability numbers.
Bosch announced the Automotive Diagnostic Solutions line with two new scan tools, the ADS 325 and ADS 625. The new diagnostic tools are designed and tested by technicians to diagnose the complex vehicle issues for passenger cars and trucks.
Designed to support full vehicle over-the-air solutions, as well as vehicle diagnostics and telematics data management with end-to-end security, the eSync Alliance aims to reduce the time and risks of developing and deploying fully connected cars.
From diagnostics to telematics to the connected car, data and technology have drastically shifted the way collision repair businesses operate. And as many shops struggle to keep pace, technology shows no signs of slowing down.
