Oct. 6, 2011—ALLDATA recently donated a one-year subscription of its ALLDATA Collision S3500 software to all National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) accredited collision repair and refinish programs.
ALLDATA Collision S3500 provides OE collision repair information. It also includes mechanical and diagnostic procedures, according to ALLDATA.
All NATEF accredited programs with any of the following certifications qualify for the free subscription: painting and refinishing, structural analysis and damage repair, or non-structural analysis and damage repair, according to ALLDATA.
“Education is important to us and we are pleased to make this donation to NATEF accredited programs,” said Kevin Culmo, vice president of finance and operations for ALLDATA. “NATEF provides a great service by attracting new technicians to the industry and ensuring they receive the training they need to be competitive in today’s marketplace. We proudly support their efforts.”
ALLDATA said there are nearly 400 NATEF accredited programs throughout the country.
“NATEF’s accreditation programs ensure the highest quality of education programs for the industry and that is why this is such a good fit,” said Dan Espersen, senior program manager for ALLDATA. “We are excited to give future technicians a key tool as they learn their trade.”
