July 29, 2011--SEMA on Thursday endorsed a new certification program that is now available through California State University-San Bernardino.
The program consists of four courses designed to be used specifically by business owners and professionals to increase their knowledge of the automotive aftermarket. The courses include: Principles of Automotive Business Management, Principles of Aftermarket Marketing, Aftermarket Finance Components, and Aftermarket Operations and Logistics Management.
“It’s great to see organizations like CSUSB offering our industry relevant programs, and we’re happy to endorse the series to our members,” said Tom Myroniak, vice president of marketing and member services for SEMA.
“Business owners and managers, particularly those who are new to the automotive aftermarket or those who simply want to strengthen their knowledge of this unique industry, will find the program to be informative and useful.” said Dick Dixon, automotive and motorsports management professor and program director at California State Unversity-San Bernadino. Student participants will gain new knowledge and skill sets that will help them better understand their marketplace and the management of their enterprise.”
