Ratchet+Wrench Recognized as Innovative New Publication

Feb. 5, 2013—Ratchet+Wrench magazine was recently featured as one of the most innovative new publications of 2012 by Folio:, a publication that serves the magazine publishing industry.

The story in Folio: recognized six magazines launched in 2012 that leverage digital, mobile and print avenues. The magazine startups featured include large consumer brands as well as smaller business-to-business brands with key initiatives in the mobile market.

Ratchet+Wrench was launched in July 2012 to provide strategies and inspiration for business success to owners and managers of automotive service centers across the country. The first issue had circulation of roughly 100,000, and included more than 200 ad pages and 400 advertisers. Ratchet+Wrench rolled out daily news production in January, and plans to initiate additional digital offerings in 2013, including a daily newsletter and an improved version of ratchetandwrench.com.
