Ed. Foundation Announces Career Fair Dates

The Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF) and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) announced the fall schedule of several career fairs nationwide.

Sept.20, 2017 — The Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF) and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) announced the fall schedule of career fairs that will combine high school and college collision repair and and auto service students to network with industry employers.

Industry companies can participate in each of the career fair events by being the official student tech shirt sponsors. The sponsors would have their logos added to the tech shirts worn by the students.

The fall 2017 career fair dates and current event tech shirt sponsors include:

St. Louis, Mo. — Sept. 29

Sacramento, Calif. — Oct. 5 (sponsorship available)

Seattle, Wash. — Oct. 11 (sponsorship available)

Chesapeake, Va. — Oct. 26 (sponsorship available)

Lansing, Mich. — Nov. 13 (Painters Supply and Equipment/ PPG Automotive Refinishes)

Minneapolis, Minn. — (sponsorship available)

Columbus, Ohio — Dec. 1 (sponsorship available)

Miami, Fla. — TBD (sponsorship available)

Boston, Mass. — TBD (sponsorship available)

“We look forward to another school semester of career fair events and helping to connect  collision and auto service students to industry employers,” Brandon Eckenrode, CREF director of development said. “There are several events being held in new areas of the country and we are working together on some ideas for event larger events that would take place in the spring semester. We encourage industry companies to participate and help showcase to the students that the industry cares about their futures.”
