March 20, 2017—The PPG Foundation recently provided $20,000 in funding for the Collision Repair Education Foundation, which will be awarded to students interested in automotive repair and refinish.
The $5,000 scholarships are awarded each year to full-time students attending post-secondary schools. Scholarship award winners will be announced later this spring.
“Now more than ever do we need to showcase this industry as a viable career option for students,” noted Domenic Brusco, a PPG senior official, “and through these scholarships we can help remove some of the financial barriers they face during their technical education.”
