CCC donates more than $1 million to Education Foundation

July 30, 2012

July 30, 2012—CCC Information Services donated more than $450,000 in software subscriptions to collision repair schools, bringing the company’s lifetime donation value through the Collision Repair Education Foundation to $1 million.

The company’s donation helps out collision department budgets and provides students access to the latest information in collision repair. The CCC is one of just three companies to reach this level of support, according to a news release_notes.

“Collision instructors and students benefit from having access to the most current technical repair information available. The fact that CCC has donated more than $1 million to repair education demonstrates their commitment to the future of the collision industry,” said Collision Repair Education Foundation Executive Director Clark Plucinski. “It is only through this high level of support that secondary and post-secondary collision students across the country will have a brighter future and the technical education to be capable, efficient, and productive employees from day one when entering the industry. On behalf of Collision Repair Education Foundation, the Board of Trustees, and the schools across the country, I thank CCC for their continued support.”

The CCC is just as proud, said Joseph Allen, Automotive Services Group vice president for CCC Information Services.

“CCC is proud to be a long-time partner and supporter of the Collision Repair Education Foundation,” he said. “Equipping auto repair students with the tools and information they need to learn and master the auto repair trade is our pleasure. Our industry looks for the best and brightest and we’re excited to play a small part in preparing the next class of repair professionals.”
