Google Now Allows Users to Book Appointments Directly

Sept. 9, 2015

Sept. 9, 2015—Google has started allowing its users to schedule service appointments directly from its search engine pages, according to a post by Charlie Needham for Autoshop Solutions. Auto shops that are involved with Intuit/Demandforce are now eligible for this new “Book an Appointment” feature.

By clicking the “Book an Appointment” feature, users are given the option of selecting the type of service option that they will need. After the option is selected, users are brought directly to the shop’s own Intuit/Demandforce page where the appointment can be booked directly.

Demandforce customers are automatically eligible for the new “Book an Appointment” feature if the Online Booking feature is enabled.
