CARSTAR Golf Event Raises More than $14,000 for Charity

Sept. 9, 2014—The CARSTAR Cincinnati Business Group raised more than $14,000 for the Fisher House Foundation through its 12th annual Golf Outing at TPC River’s Bend on Aug. 25, the company announced on Monday.

The Fisher House Foundation is a “home away from home” for families of patients receiving medical care a major military and VA medical centers. There are more than 62 Fisher Houses in operation on 23 military installations and 23 VA Medical Centers. There are four in the greater Cincinnati area.

The event kicked off with skydivers delivering an American flag, a B-25 flyover, the playing of Taps to honor fallen soldiers, and a performance of the National Anthem.
