AkzoNobel Finalizes SEMA Schedule

Oct. 16, 2013—AkzoNobel Automotive & Aerospace Coatings Americas announced Tuesday its schedule for the SEMA Show, taking place Nov. 5–8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

AkzoNobel’s booth, No. 13049, will showcase its multi-brand refinish portfolio, industry sustainability platform, select products from the Sikkens, Lesonal and Wanda brands and the company’s first commercial DIY paint solution. AkzoNobel is also offering education classes during SEMA.

AkzoNobel will start its SEMA schedule out with a press conference and the Sustainability Leadership Symposium on Nov. 4. The press conference will announce the Sustainability Education Challenge Grant, which was sponsored by AkzoNobel and administered by the Collision Repair Education Foundation. The symposium is set for 1 p.m. in room No. N231 and includes FenderBender editor Jake Weyer.

The company is also offering three education sessions during SEMA:

  • The Future of Cars—Self driving cars: fact or fiction, Nov. 5, 12:30–2:30 p.m.
  • Competing in a Consolidated Marketplace, Nov. 6, 3–5 p.m.
  • Collision Repair Center Parts Management, Nov. 7, 3–5 p.m.
