Oct. 1, 2015—CARSTAR Jungerman (St. Peters, Mo.) owners Kerry Woodson and Toni Donius have been named Franchisee of the Year by the International Franchise Association (IFA).
The IFA Awards Program recognizes individuals and organizations that have contributed to the growth and success of franchising as a method of distribution in the global economy.
“This is such an amazing honor for us,” said Kerry Woodson, a FenderBender editorial advisory board member. “My sister and I, along with everyone who puts in an amazing effort every day in our shop, are truly humbled. We don’t work hard to win awards. We work hard to deliver an exceptional product to our customers. It’s very nice to see that work recognized in such a big way.”
Donius and Woodson’s parents started Jungerman CARSTAR in 1991 and turned the shop over to the brother and sister when they retired.
Last year, CARSTAR Jungerman went green and added solar panels on the roof of their shop. The shop also went through an extensive remodeling with new paint, furniture, a new layout and a newly designed car rental counter to better service their customers.
CARSTAR Jungerman was recently recognized by Mitchell as a recipient of the AutocheX Solution Premier Achiever Award for consistently having the highest customer satisfaction scores. Earlier this year, the shop was also awarded the top honor in the CARSTAR system as Franchisee of the Year.
