ASRW re-appoints NACE event chairman

Dec. 6, 2011—Organizers of Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW) on Monday announced Ron Nagy will return for a second term as event chairman of the 2012 NACE Expo. 

Nagy, president of Nagy’s Collision Center based in northeast Ohio, is a second-generation shop owner. The company, which operates six locations, was the recipient of the 2008 Wooster Small Business award and the 2010 Fox 8 Best Body Shop award, according to ASRW organizers.

Nagy holds an I-CAR platinum designation, is a master ASE-certified collision technician and holds the Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) designation from the Automotive Management Institute (AMI).

Nagy is also chairman of the Automotive Service Association’s (ASA) national board of directors.

ASRW 2012, which includes the NACE and CARS events, is scheduled for Oct. 11-13 at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
