Puget Sound CARSTAR Raises $34,000 for Make-A-Wish

Oct. 16, 2014—The Puget Sound CARSTAR Business Group raised more than $34,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation at its annual CARSTAR Golf Tournament, the company announced Thursday.

The annual event was held at the Newcastle Golf Club in Puget Sound. The money raised also benefited wish recipient Tristan Nusser in the chapter’s recent Walk for Wishes event.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Washington grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Presently, the local chapter grants more than 300 wishes annually.
