Oct. 17, 2014—CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts has named Travis Sill as its new chief information officer, the company announced Thursday.
Sill will be responsible for providing strategic direction for CARSTAR’s technology initiatives, focusing on enhancing the systems currently supporting the CARSTAR franchise network. In addition, he will be responsible for IT vendor management, systems communications and corporate and system data management.
Sill is an IT professional with technology experience supporting large franchise networks. Prior to joining CARSTAR, Sill was Director of Technology for H&R Block in Kansas City, where he worked since 2005. His primary responsibilities included creating, developing and delivering new technology platforms supporting 12,000-plus retail tax offices. Sill also has previous consultant experience providing technology solutions to improve operations within the telecommunications, insurance, financial services and healthcare industries.
