Sherwin-Williams Unveils Redesigned Basecoat System

Nov. 7, 2016—Sherwin-Williams has released a redesigned ATX 3.5 VOC Basecoat System.

According to a company statement, the new ATX system meets all compliance standards for volatile organic compounds. The ATX 3.5 VOC basecoat system is meant to be compatible with Sherwin-Williams’ Prospector Color Reference System and iFEX Spectro.

Sherwin-Williams said the new system is ideal for small to mid-sized vehicle refinish jobs that require a consistent color match.
