Neb. CARSTAR Makes Vehicle Donation

Nov. 18, 2016—Silver Hammer CARSTAR and State Farm Insurance donated a 2005 Buick LaCrosse to the Salvation Army late last week during the annual Tree of Lights Kickoff in Omaha, Neb. The vehicle was donated as part of the Recycled Rides initiative.

“Our technicians really enjoy using their skills to give back to the community,” said Greg Petersen, co-owner of Silver Hammer CARSTAR.

Recycled Rides is a community service program from the National Auto Body Council (NABC), in which body shops refurbish and donate vehicles to agencies and families in need. To learn more about the NABC, click here.
