Toyota Reclaims Spot as World’s Largest Automaker

Oct. 26, 2015—Toyota has recaptured the title of world’s largest automaker from Volkswagen for the third quarter of 2015, according to a report by USA Today.

Toyota edged out Volkswagen, selling 7.498 million vehicles during the first nine months of the year compared to Volkswagen’s 7.431 million.

General Motors holds the No. 3 spot with sales of 7.151 million.
