Nov. 12, 2014

Nov. 12, 2014—Central Collision Center, a six-location collision repair business in Chicago’s south suburbs, has been named the winner of the 2014 Business Champion Award in Training and Development given by Corporate, Community and Continuing Education (CCCE) at Moraine Valley Community College (MVCC).

According to MVCC, Central Collision was selected to receive this award based on the company’s significant investment in encouraging lifelong learning in the workplace.

“We work in a constantly changing industry and our team must stay current with those changes,” Mike Caruso, president and owner of Central Collision (and 2013 FenderBender Executive Award winner), said in a release. “We are dedicated to equipping our employees with the skills they need to provide quality repairs for our customers.”

In 2012, Central Collision built an onsite training facility at the company’s Mokena location to support its training and development initiative. The training facility is used for I-CAR courses, safety meetings, customer service meetings and more.
