Oct. 5, 2011

Orlando, Fla., Oct. 5, 2011—The Automotive Service Association (ASA) on Tuesday hosted the Association Leadership Summit in conjunction with the 2011 Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW) at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

The event, fully sponsored by ASA for industry leaders, featured an education and networking session on best practices based on The Race for Relevance. Susan Connors Bowman and Ron Pyle, president of the ASA, presented the session.

About 25 association representatives attended the meeting.

“Leaders from associations around the country learned best practices that will take their associations in a very positive direction and will enable ASA to build on the future of these summits,” Pyle said. “ASA is pleased to put together the leadership summit to embolden the leaders of other associations to become integral pieces of the automotive industry.”
