NACE Announces MSO Symposium Agenda

May 6, 2015

May 6, 2015—The schedule for the MSO Symposium at the 2015 NACE/CARS Conference and Expo has been released.

The symposium will open at noon on July 23, the third day of NACE, which runs July 21–25 at the Cobo Center in Detroit. The symposium will cover private equity, insurance and industry trends, business growth and other management-focused topics.

“The MSO Symposium is the only event in the industry geared towards multi-shop operators and executives of single repair facilities planning to grow beyond their first location,” said Dan Risley, ASA president and executive director. “The content for this years’ program was created by the leadership in the industry that regularly attends the event. We believe this years’ program will provide attendees with tools and knowledge that will help them in their respective businesses. Staying on the cutting edge of the latest trends in the industry is critical to their long term success. The MSO Symposium is the conduit and an event collision repair professionals should not miss.”

The symposium will be moderated by industry veteran Mike LeVasseur, who recently orchestrated the sale of his 12-shop MSO in Philadelphia to ABRA. LeVasseur is staying on with ABRA in a management role.

NACE also announced the MSO Symposium’s advisory board, which, aside from LeVasseur, also includes several high-level MSO operators like Tim Adelman of ABRA, David Byers of CARSTAR, Steve Grimshaw of Caliber Collision, Erick Bickett of Fix Auto, Tim O’Day of the Boyd Group, Darrell Amberson of LaMettry’s, and Randy Stabler of Pride Auto Body.

The full schedule of the symposium can be found on the NACE website.
