Gerber Opens New Washington State Location

May 7, 2015

May 7, 2015—The Boyd Group has acquired a new collision repair location in Spokane Valley, Wash., the company announced on Wednesday.

The shop is 13,100 square feet and previously operated under the name Fitz Auto Body. It will now transition into a Gerber Collision & Glass location.

"We are very pleased to add this location in Spokane Valley, which is east of our two locations in Spokane and west of our location in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho which we opened last November," said Tim O'Day, president and COO of the Boyd Group's U.S. operations. "This secures our position as a leading provider of collision repair centers in the greater Spokane area and provides another local option for our customers and insurance partners in the region."

The Boyd Group continues to look for new acquisition opportunities in Canada and the U.S.
