WIN Announces Cornerstone Award Winners

May 30, 2014

May 30, 2014—In an unprecedented move, the Women’s Industry Network (WIN) awarded two women with its Cornerstone Award during its eighth annual Educational Conference earlier this month.

Traditionally, only one woman has been given the award at a time.

Denise Caspersen of National Autoparts Warehouse Inc. and Ruth Weniger of Airbag Solutions were both recognized with the Cornerstone Award this year.

“It was an honor to recognize these women for their tremendous efforts and contributions on behalf of WIN,” WIN Chair Margaret Knell said. “We are fortunate to have dedicated board members that are committed to the future viability of WIN.”

The annual WIN Cornerstone Award recognizes the efforts of its volunteer board members whose contributions demonstrate their commitment to the WIN mission and vision, and set an example for others to follow.
