May 21, 2014

May 21, 2014—Valspar Automotive on Tuesday was named the newest addition to the National Auto Body Council (NABC) Diamond level membership.

“From the time we first visited with NABC representatives at the SEMA Show this past Fall, we knew this was an important mission that we need and want to support,” said Peter Willman, General Manager, Valspar Automotive, North America. “Community involvement matters to us, which is why it was an easy decision to join and help further the National Auto Body Council’s mission and its programs.”

Valspar Corp., a global coatings manufacturer, joins 31 other auto body companies as a Diamond Member with the NABC, which has more than 200 member companies overall.

“We applaud and welcome Valspar’s leadership commitment to the National Auto Body Council,” said Chuck Sulkala, NABC Executive Director. “Valspar’s membership at our highest Diamond level represents a strong endorsement of the value and important work by our entire membership as we continue to strengthen and build a positive image of our collision industry.”
