May 28, 2014—The Assured Performance Network announced Tuesday it has partnered with Nissan for third-party body shop certification services and consumer marketing.
Assured Performance Network is a non-profit co-op consumer advocacy organization and management company with around 3,500 collision repair business members.
The new partnership program, aimed at ensuring consumer safety and retention after repairs, will establish a nationwide certified body shop network and consumer referral program for Nissan.
The official Nissan Certification was developed by Nissan and Assured Performance in a collaborative effort and managed by Assured Performance to ensure certified shops have proper training, tools, equipment, and facilities to repair Nissan vehicles. Certified shops must meet the certification requirements and pass an on-site inspection and audit by Assured Performance to maintain the partnership.
With the program, Nissan Certified shops will be a part of a marketing campaign developed by Nissan that will include consumer-referral elements like a shop locator and will be recognized by multiple OEMs and consumer-facing organizations through one consistent process.
