Aug. 19, 2013—Ryan West has been named vice president of claims at GEICO corporate headquarters in Chevy Chase, Md. He succeeds Rick Hoagland, who was recently named vice president in GEICO’s regional office in Buffalo, N.Y.
West joined GEICO in 1992 as a claims service representative and advanced through supervisory and management positions. Before this most recent promotion, West served as the vice president of claims for the regional office in Buffalo, N.Y.
“We are fortunate to have associates with Ryan’s skills and insights to lead our claims home office team,” said Seth Ingall, GEICO’s senior vice president. “Ryan’s breadth of experience will serve him and GEICO well as he takes on this new role.”
