ATMC Appoints New Board Chair

May 9, 2014

May 9, 2014—The Automotive Training Managers Council (ATMC) board of directors recently named Holly Gerke as its new chair.

Gerke is the director of technical training for Penske Truck Leasing.

The board had to hold a special meeting to hold the election, following the retirement announcement of former chair Darrell Rowe, who also recently retired from his position at Bridgestone Retail Operations.

“I am honored to be elected Chair of the ATMC Board,” Gerke said. “The work that is done by ATMC is powerful for our industry and I look forward to helping lead this organization as it continues to support the members in their efforts to provide high-quality training.”

Gerke will serve out the remainder of Rowe's 2014 term and is eligible for re-election in 2015.
