Sika Automotive to Present New Bonding Solutions

March 22, 2016—Sika Automotive announced Monday its participation in the Joining In Car Body engineering 2016 event in Bad Nauheim, Germany, April 19-21. 

Dr. Michael Gutgsell, department manager for body shop adhesives and sealants, will present the topic of “Innovative Bonding Solutions for Multi-material Joining,” presenting solutions for adhesive technology and how different materials are joined. 

“We are pleased to participate in this technical forum and to continuing to share the critical opportunities adhesives present in same or multi-material joining”, says Greg Moran, head global automotive marketing for Sika. “The benefits of adhesive use are clear in the lightweighting arena, and the technologies and application techniques compelling to solving standard and unique design challenges.”

The event will bring together technical experts and industry stakeholders, including many OEMs.
