Keystone, Diamond Standard form partnership

June 19, 2012—Keystone Automotive Industries and Diamond Standard Parts have formed a strategic partnership to make plated parts.

The CAPA-certified front steel bumper stampings with plating carry a lifetime warranty and are available through Keystone’s Assured Quality Replacement Parts program, according to a news release_notes.

The program allows both companies to display their brands, showing the “Platinum Plus” and “Diamond Standard” logos so that customers can identify them.

“The cooperative manufacturing effort being done solely in America means more U.S. jobs at a time when they are badly needed,” said Michael O’Neal, president of Diamond Standard. “Insurers and collision centers alike expect and demand verifiable quality and correct part delivery on all parts and specifically structural parts. As a certified manufacturer, we are confident our structural parts are safe and reliable as proven by their CAPA certification.”

“As a forward step in our quality assurance evolution, this adds even another level of confidence in our quality products that we distribute,” said Terry Fortner, LKQ’s vice president of Industry Relations and Market Development.
