High-Performing Shop Owners to Lead KPI Workshop

March 19, 2015

ST. PAUL, MINN., March 19, 2015—To be successful in today’s collision repair industry, shop leaders need to know where they stand—meaning they need a good handle on the numbers that shape their businesses. Key performance indicators (KPIs) are essential for shops to understand, track and utilize for growth. Two KPI experts will take a deep dive into this subject at the FenderBender Management Conference in May.

California shop owners Kareem Abouzeid of Knockout Collision Repair and Dino DiGiulio of Body Best Collision Center will lead “Know Where You Stand: Using Key Performance Indicators to Grow Business.” The workshop will outline what KPIs shops should be tracking, what they mean, how they’re measured, and how they should be used to grow business.

Abouzeid’s eight-employee, $1 million business doubled revenue because of his sharp focus on operating by the numbers. DiGiulio runs his 11-employee, $2.6 million operation with the same KPI-focused mindset. Both shop operators are past FenderBender feature subjects and have been highly engaged in driving the industry forward for the betterment of their peers and the customers they serve.

“Kareem and Dino are model shop owners and excellent examples of the impact committed KPI tracking can have on a shop,” said Jake Weyer, editor of FenderBender. “Their lessons are based on the real strategies and processes used daily in their facilities. Workshop attendees can expect valuable takeaways they can use to start improving their KPIs right away.”

The FenderBender Management Conference, scheduled from May 18–20 in Philadelphia, will include educational sessions, engaging workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, all aimed at helping shop owners and managers make money, save money and work smarter.
