Cole's Collision Centers Breaks Ground on Fifth Location

March 11, 2015

March 11, 2015—Cole’s Collision Centers announced Tuesday it has begun construction on its newest repair shop and office headquarters in Colonie, N.Y. The space will be the company’s fifth and largest location.

Site development is underway at 1517 Central Ave., and is expected to be completed in six months. The new center will include a training center, pits in the floor, a showroom, three frame bench racks, spray booths, room to house more than 30 cars, and office space for both Cole’s management team and insurance offices.

John Cole, founder and president, expects the center to create 15 new jobs, including journeymen, mechanical technicians, and clerical and management positions. Cole’s currently employs 85 between its four other locations.

“We are so fortunate to have such talented and dedicated staff, they are the ones who have made this new center a reality,” Cole said in a release. “This has been one of the most challenging winters on record and we realized Cole’s needed to expand to better serve our clients. Our team kept the Capital Region on the road and we look forward to serving even more customers in the near future.”
