ABA promotes William Johnston to COO, CFO

June 8, 2010—Memphis, Tenn. - based AutoBody America (ABA) announced the promotion of William Johnston to chief operating officer and chief financial officer.

Johnston, who had been the ABA’s executive vice president, began at ABA in 1999, focusing on the creation and implementation of specialized tools and procedures. ABA also credits him with developing all facets of the company’s financial reporting, information technology and accounting.

“Will has played an integral role in helping to expand the business from a single market operation into three regional hubs with additional growth anticipated in the near future,” said Pat James, ABA’s CEO. “We are fortunate to have an inventive and strategic thinker like Will to lead our operations and growth plan.”
