June 15, 2016—Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes announced Tuesday that it will hold its next 2016 EcoLean Level 2 workshop on Aug. 30-31 in St. Louis.
The two-day course educates shop owners on the connection between environmentally sound business decisions and the reduction of process and environmental waste. Attendees will learn how to maximize profit by improving productivity and eliminating waste in the shop. The curriculum includes repair planning for rapid throughput, damage analysis and blueprinting, and parts correctness.
“The best way to start to move the numbers is by scheduling efficiently, implementing damage analysis, blueprinting, and a predictable parts process. This is all discussed in our EcoLean Level 2 workshop that provides collision shop owners and managers with the tools to immediately help align their Purpose, their People, and their Process on the production floor,” Greg Eisenhardt, Sherwin-Williams marketing manager, said.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour a 10 location MSO, Schaefer Autobody Centers, that has fully implemented the lean production principles.
